love songs dedication.

As I was compiling songs for my joint birthday party the other day I noticed a folder on my iTunes labelled '<3', so I decided to have a peak in this forgotten folder to see what secrets hid inside. As the 10 songs popped up I realised what this long forgotten folder was host to: my first (and only) mix tape for my boyfriend. Being super cheesy and wishing my life was a fairytale I had made him a mix tape (read: CD) a week into our relationship.

What was on this mix tape? Cheesy love songs and songs I love and hoped he would one day love too. Honestly though I don't think he ever listened to it in its entirety. I know he popped the CD in when I first gave it to him as I got in the car, but we never listened to a full song. He skipped over the first 30 seconds of each song and once at the end of the CD we put in something else.. Actually thinking back on it now, it was a rather creepy thing to give to the poor boy. I should be glad he didn't just ignore my calls and texts, and de-friend me on Facebook...
